2025 LG WONDERBOX | Portfolio

(Final Product)

In 2025, my 3D Animation, "LG X Sea Otter", won the LG Wonderbox Showcase and was displayed on a major Times Square billboard, right at the center of New York.

I was awarded $25,000 by LG Electronics and my anamorphic video was featured on one of the central billboards of Times Square. I was also extremely blessed to have been invited to feature on NBC's Access Daily television broadcast, where Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover made the reveal.

Because the animation had to be played on a warped screen which would look like the subject is popping at at a certain viewing angle, after I rendered out how it should look like normally, I then had to project the video back to a warped plane which I then flattened so it can be played on a screen.

Most of everything you see only looks good in the camera view. I had to angle all the environments and objects I modeled in a way so it would look good at the perspective the video will be viewed at.
